Create the family life you dreamed of

Even if you’re short on time

Psssst…I see you

You thought you’d never yell at your kids.

You pictured yourself as the totally calm, cool, and collected parent who's totally self-assured. And for a while, you were. The baby phase was pretty good, right?

But then your toddler had a truly epic meltdown in the middle of the toy aisle at Target, your five year old seems to have a case of selective hearing, and you haven't had an uninterrupted conversation with your spouse in God knows how long.

It's time to get your family life back on track.

Wouldn’t it be great if you knew exactly what to do when your toddler started having a meltdown in the middle of the toy aisle?

Over the course of my career as a Montessori teacher, administrator, and developmental therapist, I noticed all these parents had something in common - they didn’t understand how kids develop.

And because of that, they didn't know how to handle typical parenting challenges - like picky eating, tantrums, not listening, and sibling rivalries.

Not understanding development makes parenting tough.

Add into that the fact that we’re living in an age with an overabundance of information, and you get a bunch of overwhelmed, burnt out parents  who can’t shake the feeling that raising kids shouldn’t be this difficult.

I help parents confidently handle everyday parenting challenges confidently, and without bribes or punishments.

Because you deserve a home that feels like a safe haven, not a battlefield.

I work with parents 1-on-1. We'll start by talking through what's challenging about parenthood right now. Maybe it's that your kid won't listen. Maybe it's that you and your spouse are on totally different pages about how to be a good parent. Maybe it's that parenting advice from Instagram "experts" and even published authors never seems to work when you try it. We'll get it all down on paper.

Next, we'll talk about how you want family life to look and feel (both now and 20 years from now when your kid has grown up).

Then, we'll make a plan for how to handle your challenging parenting moments differently.

I take parents through a process that helps uncover the thoughts and beliefs underneath their challenging scenarios. This is the part where parents usually have big a-ha moments and go “Oh, THAT'S why this keeps happening!”

You’ll test out the plan, and let me know how it's going. We’ll adjust as needed to make sure things are feeling really good for you and your family.

By the end of our partnership, you’ll be letting out a big sigh of relief. The kind of relief that comes from being totally confident that what you’re doing moment-to-moment is in alignment with the family you want to create.

“Navigating the toddler stage is hard, so having [Rose] in our back pocket has been a gift. She is approachable, gentle, and intuitive. Not once have I felt judgment for how I parent, and she gives us guidance that fits into our lives!”

Nicky Jones, mom to a four year old and expecting

“As a single parent with little support, the lessons, insight, and support have been beyond helpful. I highly recommend anyone with a child and questions, concerns, or just curiosity to at least have a quick chat with Rose.”

Byron Wolfe, dad to a four year old

“It can be hard to be vulnerable enough to bring up some of the challenges of parenting, but Rose has an instantly welcoming presence and listens well without judgment. She makes you feel heard, seen, and understood.”

Rachel Burgei, mom to a three year old, two year old, and five month old

“[Rose] comes PREPARED and is able to cover so much without things feeling too overwhelming. She was really helpful to work through parenting issues together as a team instead of just her telling me what to do...I could go on and on about how much I appreciate Rose and what she does!”

Rachel was hosting a meet-up for her mom’s group when her toddler started biting and hitting her.
To make it worse, she was actually trying to calm him down when he started the hitting and biting.

She was flooded with emotions: embarrassment, anger, confusion – why the heck would he do that?!
As she continued trying to soothe him, some of the other moms shared that a specific child had been repeatedly taking the toy out of her son’s hand.

She nodded politely, not really able to process what they'd said.

After ten more LONG minutes of trying to calm him down, she decided to admit defeat and leave. She felt guilty being first to leave when she was supposed to be the hostess.

But by the time she got to the car, her emotions had settled and she started thinking through what happened.
Her son had been getting more and more upset each time the other child took the toy out of his hands. He didn't have the words to handle the situation for himself or to ask her for help. That was a pretty hard thing for a toddler to experience.

She didn’t like that he had hit and bitten her, but she could understand what was going on inside him at that moment.

The more she thought about it, the more empathy she felt for how tough that must have been for him to experience.
Normally, in these situations, she would rack her brain for an appropriate punishment or consequence to teach him that this behavior wasn’t OK.

But since she’d been working with me, she could trust that nothing else needed to be done.

She breathed a sigh of relief.
And then she sent me a voice memo to tell me the whole story.
